We all enjoyed visiting the Ferrantes in Tokyo and exploring the many landmarks in Tokyo and Kyoto. We did numerous visits to Gardens, Temples, Shrines, local shopping districts, restaurants (both western and Japanese), two observation decks and three Onsens during our 17 days and we were busy nearly every. The Shinkansen to Kyoto and our stay at the Hotel Granvia was the highlight of the trip, for me. Although the National Gardens were spectacular.
Here we are leaving the station from Ebisu to catch the Narita Express in Shinagawa...
When I think of this trip now, I can recall this picture in my mind......taken from the scenic walkway on the grounds surrounding GinKaku-ji Temple, and with Kyoto in the background.
